The game that started it all! Based on the PC Genjin comic strip and developed in only 3 months, Bonk's Adventure brought innovative new play schemes as well as a much-needed mascot for the TurboGrafx. Bonk must use his head to attack enemies rather than jumping on them. Using the turbo switches found on the TurboGrafx controller, Bonk could rapidly spin through the air, blasting through everthing in sight. Bonk's Adventure featured giant tough bosses and hidden levels. In addition, Bonk could "evolve" by finding and eating meat, becoming invincible with two small pieces or one large piece of meat. The game featured unique prehistoric levels such as the internals of a dinosaur and the moon.
Story
Evil King Drool is up to it again! This time he's kidnapped the beautiful Dragon Princess, Za, and hidden her away. The year is 10,000 B.C., and as Bonk the Caveman, it's your job to get her back. Unfortunately there are not a lot of weapons around, so you'll just have to use your head -- literally!
